This title and an appropriate picture, were on a co-worker's cube and so I said to him:

There ain't no trick to making crocodiles fly, son. Attach a finned jet engine to their back and they'll pretty much take off without a problem. Nope, the real trick is in teaching them to land safely. Usually this takes a couple of lessons with qualified flight instructors wearing armor, since crocs get testy when they are criticized. Even so, that's not much of a trick. No sirree Bob. If you want something spectacular, show me crocodiles that fly gracefully.</backwoods drawl>
I was thinking about this today. I've had my share of times when I've been asked to make crocodiles fly. Every programmer worth their salt has had that happen.
And I have had chances to help make crocodiles that fly gracefully. A lot harder but well worth the effort.
And I may have a new announcement to make this weekend.
